- Career Accomplishments
Michelle Godinet serves as the Equal Opportunity Director and the Title IX and ADA Coordinator. She has been at Washburn since 2021, prior to working here, she worked as the Civil Rights Manager for the Kansas Department of Corrections. Before moving back to Kansas, Michelle worked in NWA as the Community Liaison for the Springdale School District. Prior to moving to Northwest Arkansas, Michelle worked as the Assistant Director in the Office of Affirmative Action and in Employee Relations.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kansas State University, along with her Master's in education and a graduate certificate in Conflict Resolution from Kansas State University. She has worked as a Deputy Probation Officer in San Diego County, a grant writer in San Diego with the Oceanside Boys and Girls Club and as Court Services Officer/Supervisor for the City of Manhattan Kansas.
When Michelle is not at work you can find her reading, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
