- Career Accomplishments
Sara Stepp joined the Mulvane Art Museum in 2022 as Academic Curator, and was appointed Director in 2025. She earned a doctorate in art history with honors from the University of Kansas in 2023. Sara has worked in museums and cultural institutions since 2014, and has taught university-level courses in art history and museum studies since 2016. She is the editor of two books about the Mulvane collection. Her work is driven by a passion for artistic inquiry, object-based learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
