SSS is a free support program for eligible Washburn students that provides personalized advising, tutoring, success coaching and opportunities to grow academically and professionally. If you're the first in your family to attend college, managing financial challenges, or navigating college with a disability, you don't have to do it alone. Work one-on-one with an advisor who has a smaller student caseload, so you get the attention and guidance you deserve.
Dedicated tutoring
Access free in-person tutors just for SSS students who can help you understand difficult concepts and strengthen your study skills.

Learn how to navigate financial aid, scholarships and budgeting through workshops about money tailored specifically for SSS students.

- A first-generation college student (your parents did not complete a four-year college degree)
- Income-eligible
- A student with a documented disability receiving accommodations at Washburn
- Students who receive the Shawnee County Promise Scholarship are especially encouraged to apply.
