
Associate of Arts in Family & Human Services
The Associate of Arts in Family & Human Services is designed to provide entry-level education and experience. Students who take our Service Coordination class as one of the required electives for our Associate of Arts degree are eligible to apply for Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services certification as a Person Centered Case Manager (PCCM). University Requirements: 9 hours/Grade of "C" or better
- MA 112 Cont. College Math OR MA 116 College Algebra (3)
- EN 101 First Year Writing (3)
- WU 101 The Washburn Experience (3) OR IS 100 The College Experience (3) OR HN 101 Honors Washburn Experience (3)
General Education Requirements: 15 hours/Grade of "D" or better
- A. Humanities: 6 hours selected from the general education curriculum to include two disciplines.
- B. Natural Science: 3 hours selected from the general education curriculum in an area other than mathematics.
- C. Social Sciences: 6 hours selected from the general education curriculum to include two disciplines.
