Tuition & Fee Schedules

Tuition and fees are established by the Washburn University Board of Regents and are subject to change by the Board of Regents.

The tuition charge per credit hour is applicable to all parts of term such as regular semester, evening programs, etc., whether taken for credit or as an auditor.

The tuition and fees listed below are in effect for the Fall 2018, Spring 2019 and Summer 2019 academic terms (Washburn Tech students can view tuition and fee schedules here).  

NOTE:  Beginning in Fall 2018, a flat $55 activity fee will be charged to all Washburn students enrolled in one or more courses whether the courses are on campus or online (Fall and Spring only). Washburn Law students will be charged a $35 activity fee (Fall and Spring only).  See additional information about activity fees below.

Activity fees are charged to all students taking one or more classes, online or on campus, except during the summer term, and are non-refundable once the term begins:

Tuition and fees for Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Summer 2020 will be posted as soon as the rates become available.

All Washburn students regardless of how their courses are being taught (on campus or online) are charged activity fees for the Fall and Spring terms.  The activities provided by these various student organizations are available to all students who have been charged.  Activity fees are non-refundable once the term begins.
