Welcome to the application for the Early Acceptance Pathway for the School of Nursing at Washburn University

Below you will find a Checklist to help guide you through the application process. The application form will follow the Checklist instructions.

  1. Formal admission to Washburn University directly from high school; 
  2. Declaration of pre-nursing as intended major; 
  3. Minimum high school GPA of 3.2 on 4.0 scale (unweighted); 
  4. Signed acknowledgement of professional aptitudes, abilities, skills, and essential requirements for nursing; 
  5. Completion of the Early Acceptance Pathway application; 
  6. One Reference Statement from an employer, high school counselor, or high school science instructor - online reference form;
  7. Official final high school transcript received by the university (no later than July 31).

Applications will be reviewed beginning August 1. Notification of acceptance will be through your Washburn email account.
