A fully online submission process for the annual capital, equipment and technology requests is available for your use. While each online form is a little different, each uses the same approach and technology. The Capital and Equipment request forms are very similar, while the Technology request form is a little more detailed. Reference the pages below for more information.

Request Schedule and Approval Processes

Capital Improvements/Other Equipment/Technology Equipment  

  1. August 21 (Monday) – VPAT issues forms and instructions for Capital 
    Improvements and Other Equipment requests. 
  2. October 13 (Friday) – Requests in all categories must be submitted and approved by dean/director.  Submissions are closed after this date.
  3. November 20 (Monday) – Associate Vice President, Facilities to provide list of submissions to executive staff for prioritization. 
  4. December 1 (Friday) – Executive staff to provide prioritized lists of submissions to FSD for cost analysis. 
  5. February 1 - 23 – Facilities/Budget Committee meets to review all lists and determine final list.  
  6. February 28 (Wednesday) – Final Technology Equipment prioritized list to Budget Director. 
  7. February 29 (Thursday) – Budget Director turns in completed agenda item to Purchasing Director. 
  8. March 7 (Thursday) – Agenda item due to Board Secretary. 
  9. March 21 (Thursday) – Board of Regents reviews and approves list.
