Order of Omega

Order of Omega is an undergraduate Greek Honor Society recognizing fraternity men and women who have attained a high standard of leadership in inter-fraternity activities. It functions as an adjunct to traditional fraternal organizations, rather than a social or professional group.

The Xi Chi chapter at Washburn was founded on March 20, 1995.

Membership is available to juniors or seniors who have attained a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have significant leadership in both the fraternity and sorority life community and on the Washburn campus.

A one-time initiation fee is due prior to initiation.

New Member Symposium

This co-curricular educational track is an opportunity to equip and empower the newest members of the Washburn fraternity and sorority life community. New members will learn about campus resources which can assist in their transition to Washburn's campus, as well as their transition into the FSL community and their individual chapters.

Topics at the symposium focus on developing students while also improving our community. Presentations include bystander intervention, anti-hazing education, sexual violence education, and information on substance abuse. Students will also learn about maintaining a healthy school, social and work balance and how to get the most out of their experience.
