Eligibility

Summer housing is available to Washburn students meeting at least one of the following conditions:

  1. Students taking a summer course at Washburn.
  2. Student enrolled full time for the upcoming Fall semester and who have lived with us this past year.

Availability

The summer housing block options will range from May 25th - July 30th.

  • Summer Housing Block One- May 25th through June 26th
  • Summer Housing Block Two- June 28th through July 30th
  • *Summer Housing Block Three- May 25th through July 30th
*Students who select Block Three and are not enrolled in Summer classes will be Billed through our Market Place and must pay half of their bill prior to moving in and then the other half prior to June 28th.

Room options for student summer housing is generally limited to 3 buildings in the Washburn Village and West Hall due to maintenance and conference schedules.

Students wishing to live on campus between their spring-to-summer or summer-to-fall contract dates may qualify for a interim period as following:

  • Residents of the outgoing Spring 2026 term may apply for the first interim period from May 16th - May 24th
  • Future residents of the upcoming Fall 2026 term may apply for the second interim period from August 1st - August 12th

Rates

  • Summer Housing Block One- (May 25th through June 26th) Single-$1050 or Double-$875
  • Summer Housing Block Two- (June 28th through July 30th) Single-$1050 or Double-$875
  • Summer Housing Block Three- (May 25th through July 30th) Single- $2100 or Double $1750
