During full senate meetings, WSGA meets to discuss any necessary points of business as well as discuss and vote on bills presented to the senate as a whole at each meeting. WSGA meets every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. for full senate in the Kansas Room. Prior to full senate meetings, committees meet to discuss projects, to write bills and resolutions, and to give status to bills and resolutions. Generally, committee meetings start at 6 p.m., unless they are otherwise organized by the Committee Chairperson or Student Body President. Each senator is assigned to a specific standing committee which consist of Allocations, Campus and Community Affairs, and Communications. WSGA currently also has five non-standing committees in which senators can either be appointed to or volunteer to be on. These committees consist of By-Laws, Diversity and Inclusion, Internal Affairs, Internal Finance, and Nominations.
