New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is for new first-year students who are coming directly from high school or took time in between high school and college with no college credit. New Student Orientation is required for all new first-time, full-time students. Transfer students are highly encouraged to participate in a New Student Orientation, but not required.

Orientation Checklist (Pre- and Post-Orientation)

*As of Aug. 9, Washburn requires the use of masks while indoors regardless of vaccination status with some limited exceptions (see Mask Regulations for exceptions). Masks are not required if a person is alone in workspaces and offices. Masks are optional but strongly recommended in outdoor public spaces where social distancing is not possible. We will continue to follow Washburn University's health and safety protocols regarding COVID-19.
